WEEKENDER
Enjoy 2 days guided fishing on the Endeavour & Annan Rivers. Accommodation is at the conveniently located Seaview Motel directly opposite the wharf and easy walking to restaurants, pubs and clubs. Maximum of 2 anglers.
Itinerary
Day 1 - Check into Seaview Motel, overlooking the wharf and with stunning views of the mouth of the Endeavour river. The Seaview Motel is a short walk to the boat ramps, pubs, clubs and restaurants. Twin motel room, ensuite, tea and coffee.
Day 2 - Full day fishing the Endeavour river. Cast lures, fly and live-bait for barramundi, mangrove jack, fingermark, trevally and queenfish in a river rich with history, diversity and wildlife. All bait, tackle, refreshments and lunch provided. Depart 7am return 4.30pm.
Day 3 - Full day fishing the Annan river. 5 minutes to the south of Cooktown lies the Annan river. A smaller tidal system than the Endeavour; the Annan empties into Walker Bay with its nearby inshore reefs. Fishes well for barra, fingermark, trevally, queenfish, tarpon and mangrove jack. All bait, tackle, refreshments and lunch provided. Depart 7am return 4.30pm.
Day 4 - Check out of accommodation.
Inclusions - 2 days guided fishing charters and lunches. All bait provided. Tackle provided on a lost and replace basis. 3 night’s twin share motel accommodation.
N.B. Inshore sport fishing is available weather permitting.

THE WORKS
5 days guided fishing for the keen angler wanting to experience a variety of fishing environments and species. Accommodation is at the conveniently located Seaview Motel directly opposite the wharf and easy walking to restaurants, pubs and clubs. Maximum of 2 anglers.

Day 3 - Reef fishing – With Cooktown’s close proximity to the Great Barrier Reef you will be fishing for Spanish mackerel, longtail tuna, trevally, queenfish, coral trout, red emperor and nannygai within a few minutes of leaving port. All bait, tackle, refreshments and lunch provided. Depart 7am return 4.30pm.
Day 4 - Headlands - Head north out of the Endeavour river up towards Cape Bedford and Elim beach. Some excellent inshore sport fishing for queenfish, trevally, tuna, barra and mangrove jack with a picturesque coastline of sand and stunning escarpments. All bait, tackle, refreshments and lunch provided. Depart 7am return 4.30pm.

Day 6 - Lakefield National Park/McIvor river – Lying roughly 2 hours drive north of Cooktown is some of the best lure and fly barramundi fishing available in the country. Here there are good opportunities for metre plus barra in a natural and remote environment. All bait, tackle, refreshments and lunch provided. Depart 7am return 4.30pm.
Day 7 - Check out of accommodation.
Inclusions - 5 days guided fishing charters and lunches. All bait provided. Tackle provided on a lost and replace basis. 6 night’s share motel accommodation.
